The Watershed
Why in Britain is there a 9 o’clock watershed. Once upon a time children were a part of the family. If we look at our nearest neighbour in the animal kingdom the ‘Bonobo Ape’ the kids join in with everything, though little is said of this anymore, aspects of their lives have been (un) officially banned. In fact all young animals learn from their parents, and so do isolated tribes. They don’t have a 9 o’clock watershed. The civilised world is somewhat different to this. We watch nice things up to the watershed such as ‘The Flowerpot Men’ and ‘Emmerdale Farm’ then when the watershed is reached we then watch brutal murders and wars and such like; at the midnight hour it’s total porn for depraved people and there are dozens of channels that transmit nothing but.
So the moral of the watershed is that the last thing children should do is learn from adults.
